Solar PV Coordinator
Max Energy, established in 2015, delivers insulation and energy solutions across new build, construction, and social housing. We’re now looking for a proactive Solar PV Coordinator to join our growing team.
This is a fast-paced, hands-on role where you’ll manage the full customer journey post-sale - from survey booking and DNO applications through to installation, finance processing, handover, and aftercare. You’ll work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure a smooth, professional experience for every customer.
Key Responsibilities
Manage customer communication via phone and email, keeping all parties informed throughout the process
Coordinate surveys and installations efficiently, balancing schedules and logistics
Process DNO applications and liaise with third parties (e.g. DNO, HIES, EPVS)
Manage finance applications, invoicing, and payment tracking
Maintain accurate CRM records and project updates
Prepare and issue installation handover packs (certifications, warranties, documentation)
Resolve issues, escalations, and operational challenges quickly and professionally
Coordinate daily with installers, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams
Identify process improvements, risks, and inefficiencies
Support reporting, diary optimisation, and operational performance
About You
Experience in an admin or coordinator role (ideally within solar, construction, or utilities)
Strong organisational and multitasking skills with high attention to detail
Confident communicator with excellent customer service skills
Proficient in CRM systems, Excel, and general IT tools
Commercial awareness and a proactive, problem-solving mindset
Desirable: Knowledge of Solar PV, DNO processes, or MCS/NICEIC standards; experience with planning, subcontractors, or finance processes.
