Credit Controller
Join Max Energy as Credit Controller in Leicester - manage customer accounts, chase overdue payments, and safeguard cash flow in a supportive, inclusive team.
Max Energy Ltd are looking to recruit an experienced Credit Controller to become a key member of the team, on a full-time permanent basis at our Leicester head office. Reporting to the Financial Controller the duties will be varied to cover Sales Ledger you will ideally have previous experience in a similar role.
· Chase outstanding invoices professionally via telephone and email.
· Proactively chase overdue debt using on stop notices, formal letters and legal escalation should it be required.
· Respond to customer queries quickly and effectively.
· Investigate and resolve underpayments.
· Raise credit notes for Director sign-off.
· Ensure customer records and notes are kept up-to-date.
· Maintain a well organised credit control filing/chase system.
· Issuing of customer statements and final accounts.
· Credit vetting and new account credit limit reviews.
· Building a client relationship through regular contact and a professional attitude.
· Flexible approach to working hours
· Ensure all associated administration duties are carried out in line with company procedures
· Ensure that a professional and courteous approach is adopted at all times
· Strictly adhere to all Health and Safety procedures and ensure that the working environment is practical for both yourself and others
· And any other reasonable duties commensurate with the post, which may be allocated from time to time.
